hello please

Ok, so it's been awhile and I've been slacking on the whole blog thing. Oh well.

I've been working on a new project lately that's been opening my mind to all sorts of things: a comic book. Now, it's loosley based on a dream that was inspired by a painting a did for fun.

This guy, right here:
I don't wanna get too into the plot, cause really, it's not too far along in my head. The jist of it is that this girl [unnamed as of yet- I always have problems coming up with names] falls into the water, and she immediately knows she's in danger. She swims out of the water as fast as she can and inspects her body. On her upper thigh she finds a leech-like animal, which I am calling an Eel, and it quickly wriggles it's way under her skin.
As a result, girl goes into some sort of coma-thing and wakes up in another world where animals look like taxidermy amitures and shit. Spooky-scary, right? Anyway, in my dream there were other people there and they still participated in "Old World" things, such as group therapy. So I guess the whole goal of everyone there is to "get back." But how? Psssh, fuck if I know.

So far I've done 4 pages, none of which are finished. Here are two of my favorites:
Those guys at the bottom there- they're the eels. They have lamprey-like teeth so that they can drill into your skin. "I'm gonna eat your brains to gain your knowledge" type stuff.
The bull is going to symbolize a human character from the Old World, but like a boyfriend I once had was fond of saying: "I can't let you know too much at once."

Let's just jump right on in, k?

Name's Kristin. There's about to be a brutal thunderstorm here and I couldn't be more psyched. So I will make this short.

Just posting some images down in the past couple of years.

Let's get up to speed, buddies.
